Game Art Melbourne Exhibition

My roles:

Glitchmark presents a unique, extensive exhibition of Melbourne indie game art.

Games include the award-winning Framed, Duet, Antichamber, Armello, BosonX, Push Me Pull You and many more exclusive, highly anticipated games being shown pre-release.

Designers and players come together in this two-week event, showcasing some of the most innovative moments in indie games, which have had global influence in the industry. Glitchmark explores the relationship between the players immersed in Melbourne games and the development teams who work tirelessly on polishing their art to perfection.

Finally, the big names behind games like Framed, Duet, Antichamber and Armello unite within one show to testify that the Melbourne indie games scene is paving the way in the design and innovation of playful experience and storytelling.

E55 plays host to the two-week celebration, which includes many one-off events.

Opening night pays homage to a plethora of talent in a never-before-heard live mix of award-winning Melbourne game soundtracks; from the BAFTA winner Adrian Moore (Framed), the keyboardist and electronics tech for Gotye and Double J host Tim Sheil (Duet), critically acclaimed Siddhartha Barnhoorn (Antichamber) and many others.

Mid-exhibition night will be full of installation games and artworks that the audience can play via infra-red, 3D camera technology, and new kinds of game controllers custom-made for the event.

With almost 100 pieces of never-before-seen art, this is a show not to be missed.
